Start of Tinergy Asia, beyond the borders of China
Expanding into Asia with the intent to cooperate, explore and co-develop into the new energy sector, Tinergy's Chairman and Executive Director of Xiamen Anxi Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Zhang Yalian and Mr. Wang Hong Bo led a delegation from Xiamen Anxi Chamber of Commerce to Malaysia and Singapore for week-long exchange activities from Jul 17 to Jul 23, 2023.
During the exchange, the delegation had in-depth exchanges with local government departments, business organisations, and green energy experts to understand the current status and future trends of energy development in the Southeast Asia.
At the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, Deputy Chairman of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Guo Longsheng, Permanent Honorary Chairman Mr. Datuk Tan Yau Seng, Treasurer General Mr. Zhang Baiyuan, President of the Youth Entrepreneur Association Mr. Lim Lik Kang, Central Council member Mr. Lim Jinquan, and some members of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce warmly welcomed the visit of Mr. Zhang Yalian and his delegation.
During the interactive discussions, Chairman Zhang Yalian stated that at present, opportunities and challenges coexist in global green energy development. Especially in the complex environment of the China-U.S. trade war and technological barriers, the ASEAN region has become a key market and development area.
In particular, the new energy sector, which focuses on innovative technologies and high-quality services in green energy, has grown rapidly in recent years. Tinergy will leverage this exchange and cooperation to provide reliable and efficient energy solutions for ASEAN countries, contributing to local economic prosperity and sustainable development.
The delegation also visited Singapore and participated in a symposium and investment promotion event attended by Liu Yongqiang, the County Mayor of Anxi County, Wang Yajun, the former Vice Chairman of the China Overseas Chinese Federation, Mr. Yang Yunzhong, the Executive Chairman in Singapore, Mr. Li Ruiqing, the First Vice Chairman, as well as some overseas Chinese representatives.
Addendum: This exchange triggered the decision for Tinergy to expand beyond the borders and took the first step into the global stage by establishing its Asia Pacific HQ in Singapore.
